			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align:left;" align="center"><span style="color:#800080;"><em>Today is <strong>DAY 2</strong> of The World Sanskrit Conference, which is in its 15th year this year. It is being held in India this time around, and was inaugurated by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on January 5, 2012.</em></span></p>
<p style="text-align:left;" align="center"><span style="color:#800080;"><em>Over the five days of the conference proceedings, I hope to be able to post, each day, the list of topics that are being discussed at the various special panels that have been arranged by the organisers. The purpose is simply to get a measure of the ocean of knowledge that is this ancient language, and the worldwide spread of scholars who continue to partake of this ocean&#8217;s treasures.</em></span></p>
<p style="text-align:left;" align="center"><span style="color:#800080;"><em>I hope the lists over the next few days will be an inspiration for all of us who love Sanskrit, and an eye-opener for those who consider it a &#8216;dead language.&#8217;</em></span></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align:left;" align="center">The World Sanskrit Conference is in its 15th year this year. It is being held in India this time around, and was inaugurated by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh yesterday.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;" align="center">Starting today, for the next five days, I hope to be able to post the list of topics that are being discussed at the various special panels that have been arranged by the organisers. The purpose is simply to get a measure of the ocean of knowledge that is this ancient language, and the worldwide spread of scholars who continue to partake of this ocean&#8217;s treasures.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;" align="center">I hope the lists over the next few days will be an inspiration for all of us who love Sanskrit, and an eye-opener for those who consider it a &#8216;dead language.&#8217;</p>
